Specific information for this programme

  • Required Degree

    Holders of a secondary or technical secondary school leaving certificate or of foreign diplomas or certificates recognised as equivalent by the Minister in charge of National Education are eligible.

  • Language Skills

    B2 certificate in English and French.

  • Documents

    The application should include: a CV, a cover letter in French , school performance the past three years , any document relating to any useful work experience and , finally, an ” essay ” to write in English 1000 words on a legal topic of your choice, which can be chosen from this list to download.

Diploma & numerus clausus

Access to the Bachelor in Law is conditional on holding a secondary school diploma and on the numerus clausus procedure.

Diploma: To be able to apply for a Bachelor in Law, you must hold a secondary school diploma obtained in Luxembourg (classical high school, European or international high school, technical high school) or abroad (in this case, the diploma must be recognised as equivalent by the Luxembourg Ministry of National Education).

Numerus clausus: this course can only accommodate a limited number of particularly motivated students. If, on the closing date for registrations in the 1st year, the number of applications exceeds 180, a selection will be made by a jury according to an evaluation grid based on linguistic knowledge, motivation and the level of previous marks.
