Dr. Imen DEROUICHE

Imen is a Research Scientist (Level 2) in Accounting and Audit at the Department of Economics and Management (DEM), FDEF, University of Luxembourg.

Her research interests include corporate governance, corporate finance, financial and non-financial reporting, sustainability reporting, climate change, and labor market policy. Imen has published in numerous high-ranking journals in accounting and finance and has presented her research at international scholarly conferences.

As of February 2021, Imen is the Study Programme Director of the Formation complémentaire des candidats réviseurs d’entreprises et experts-comptables. She gives several courses in accounting and financial analysis in bachelor’s and master’s programmes.

Imen joined the University of Luxembourg as a junior researcher in 2016 and, prior to that, was a professor of accounting and auditing in Tunisia. She obtained her “Habilitation Universitaire” from the University of Tunisia in 2019 and the “Autorisation à Diriger des Recherches” from the University of Luxembourg in 2024.
