On Friday 13 May, the BMED team organises visits of the campus\u2019 medical units, holds presentations and hosts encounters with BMED team members, all tailored for Luxembourgish high school students. The operation is organised jointly with the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth of Luxembourg.<\/p><p>Two introductory tours will be given on 13 May for high school (lyc\u00e9e) third- and second-year students. The tours will include presentations of the medical study programme, introducing the students to the medical profession, visits of medical facilities such as the simulation unit, and informal exchanges with teachers, heads of departments and students.<\/p><p>Two sessions are offered for the\u00a0students:<\/p><ul class=\"ulux-list\"><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">9.00-11.00: morning session<\/li><li class=\"ulux-list-item\">14.00-16.00: afternoon session\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p>The tours will start from the University <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/contact\/campus_de_belval\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Belval Campus<\/a> Maison du Savoir (MSA)\u00a0ground floor entrance (near the auditoires).<\/p><p>For any further information: <a href=\"mailto:secretariat.med@uni.lu\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"mailto:secretariat.med@uni.lu\" rel=\"noopener\">secretariat.med@uni.lu<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"the-bachelor-of-medicine-at-the-university-of-luxembourg\"\n    >\nThe\u202fBachelor of Medicine at the University of Luxembourg<\/h3>\n<p>The\u202fBachelor of Medicine\u202f(BMED) was launched in 2020. Headed by <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/recherche\/fstm\/dlsm\/people\/gilbert_massard\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Dr. Gilbert MASSARD<\/a>, Director of medical Education at the University of Luxembourg\u2019s Faculty of\u202fScience, Technology and Medicine (FSTM), it focuses on the early development of clinical skills through simulation training and tutoring by doctors with proven pedagogical skills.
