This collaboration, in line with the government\u2019s digital strategy, is set to strengthen research and innovation in Luxembourg, enhance its reputation and contribute to the social, cultural and economic development of the country. The framework agreement covers the period to 2025 and is renewable.<\/p><p>Under the framework agreement, the partners intend to implement joint research and innovation projects to be submitted to national and European funding agencies. The agreement also provides for the partners\u2019 joint access to their respective training and education activities. Both partners will grant access to equipment, physical and digital infrastructure, technical knowhow, and expertise. The framework agreement also covers the provision of High-Level Support Team services.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/universite\/high_performance_computing\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">High-Performance Computing<\/a>\u00a0(HPC) is the ability to process data and perform complex calculations at high speed. It helps scientists, public institutions and companies to make predictions built on simulations and modelling of complex patterns (pure HPC), to conduct analyses of large amounts of data (High Performance Data Analytics, HPDA), or to develop artificial intelligence (AI) solutions aimed to solve complex challenges.<\/p><p><i>\u201cThe University\u2019s ambitious HPC strategy has empowered our engineers and researchers with unique skills in the fields of high-performance computing, high-performance analytics, and artificial intelligence<\/i>\u201d, said Prof.\u00a0<i>With the MeluXina framework agreement, the University will stimulate a positive societal impact and drive innovation through research, expertise, and education<\/i>, in charge of the University High Performance Computing. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/recherche\/fstm\/dcs\/members\/pascal_bouvry\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Pascal Bouvry<\/a>.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201c<i>LuxProvide aims at democratising access to HPC making companies, including SMEs, first-class citizens for the usage of MeluXina<\/i>\u201d, said Roger Lampach, CEO of <i>The partnership with the University will consolidate the opportunity to on-board new generations of users through the elaboration of joint feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts.
