We are happy to announce that 4 students will receive the 2020 Pierre Werner Scholarship. This scholarship is made available by the Fondation Pierre Werner, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg.<\/p>

At the meeting of the\u00a0Fondation\u00a0Pierre Werner\u00a0management\u00a0committee held on 26 June, 2020, it was decided to grant the Pierre Werner\u00a0Scholarships\u00a0for the year 2020 to four candidates. This decision was based on the opinion of the pre-selection jury from the University of Luxembourg,\u00a0composed of Prof. Dr. Katalin Ligeti, Prof. Dr. David Howarth, Prof. Dr. Joana Mendes,\u00a0and Prof. Dr. Pierre Picard.<\/p>

The successful candidates for 2020 are:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Rana C\u00f6mertpay (Belgium, Turkey), with the subject \u201cEssays on the Economics of Migration and Forced Displacement\u201d.<\/p>

Bastian Krieger (Germany), with the subject \u201cEssays in Economics of Innovation\u201d.<\/p>

Roila Mavrouli (Greece), with the subject \u201cLa controverse constitutionnelle grecque sur l\u2019article 120 \u00a7 4 en p\u00e9riode de crise. \u00c9tude de la comp\u00e9tence controvers\u00e9e du peuple en tant qu\u2019organe de l\u2019Etat\u201d.<\/p>

Igor Tkalec (Croatia), with the subject \u201cExternal drivers and internal outcomes: the effect of European Semester on adequate pensions in the euro area\u201d.<\/p>
