One of the largest and most active student association shaping campus life, SAUL is known for organising events and running the Student lounges<\/a> in Belval and Kirchberg. A portrait by managers Anne Virgili and Vidiam Moreau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Student Association for University Campus Life (SAUL)<\/a> is actually older than the University itself. Its predecessor was founded in 1983, though it underwent several changes in name and structure over the years, as former president Vidiam Moreau explains. It\u2019s in 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic forced several student associations to merge, that the association in its current format is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this difficult time, the association worked hard to stay in business, and grew to a peak of 40 members, and it now organises more events than ever, enriching campus life with both large-scale parties and regular, smaller gatherings. The largest events have welcomed up to 2,000 participants \u2013 close to a third of the student community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
