Two startups that will join the University\u2019s Accelerator<\/a> on its US roadshow – LegalFly and MoveUP – were selected for the Aureus Prize 2025 in presence of H.R.H. Prince Louis of Luxembourg.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the fourth year in a roll, Aureus Ars & Scientia asbl funds the US immersion trip, during which startups from the University of Luxembourg Incubator<\/a> meet and network with different ecosystem players including potential partners, clients and most importantly, investors. The Aureus Prize provides external startups from the Greater Region the opportunity to join the cohort and benefit from the organised business trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 26 February, the Incubator hosted the fourth Aureus Prize competition where 10 finalist startups from Belgium, France, and Luxembourg were pitching their ideas to the external executive jury which consisted of H.R.H. Prince Luis of Luxembourg, Olivier Van Regemortel, CEO and Founder of Orea Capital and board member of Aureus Ars & Scientia, Olivier Van Outryve, Partner at Dugardyn & Partners, Jacques Mahaux, Non \u2013 Executive Director at Orea Capital, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Bostoen, Owner of Fenixco, Charlotte Binst, Member of European Women on Boards (EWOB), Piet Colruyt, Partner at Colruyt Group, Hubert Bonnet, Founder of Fondation CAB,\u00a0 Serge Hanssens, EY Partner, Charles Delogne, Belgian Ambassador to Luxembourg, Ludo van der Heyden, INSEAD Chaired Professor, and Diego de Potter, Partner at FamilyPartners.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is almost a tradition now for the Embassy of Belgium to sponsor this event that promotes the innovation,\u201d shared Charles Delogne, Belgian Ambassador to Luxembourg. \u201cLike Luxembourg, Belgium is one of the most innovative countries in Europe, that\u2019s why we are happy to support this initiative.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aureus Prize is launched by the Aureus Ars & Scientia asbl in partnership with the University of Luxembourg Incubator. \u201cIn one of the pillars we are doing our philanthropical investments, entrepreneurship is really important and as an entrepreneur myself, I can confirm that it is very difficult to start and if we can give a little push, that is why we launched this prize with the University of Luxembourg,\u201d explained Olivier Van Regemortel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While handing the award, H.R.H. Prince Louis of Luxembourg congratulated the winners and acknowledged the importance of entrepreneurship for the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
