With three out of four Uni.lu graduates staying in Luxembourg to work or start a business, there is no doubt that the University serves the interest of graduates looking to a bright future as well as recruiters looking for the talents of tomorrow. As for doctoral candidates, they are perfectly equipped to start brilliant research careers in the public or private sector.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the world faces numerous economic, cultural and societal challenges, training students to address them and find solutions is paramount. \u201cOur core business is the future \u2013 the future employees, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and researchers who bring energy, ideas and innovation to shape a better future<\/em>\u201d, says Prof. Philippe Hiligsmann<\/a>, Vice-rector for Academic and Student affairs. \u201cThis is not a small endeavour, and we wish the new graduates success, joy and courage for their future career choices<\/em>\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur University is Luxembourg\u2019s asset for preparing the future\u201d, says Prof. Jens Kreisel<\/a>, Rector of the University. \u201cAs the job market changes, we train local and international talent  with the knowledge and skills to take on the challenges of tomorrow. Through its alumni and scientists, the University provides innovation and expertise to fuel the economy and to stay ahead of new realities.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

\nOnce a student, always an alumni<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, close to 1,600 students obtained a Bachelor, Master or lifelong learning degree, including 465 students from the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance<\/a>, 564 student from the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences<\/a> and 330 students from the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine<\/a>. In addition, 188 doctoral students successfully defended their PhD thesis this year. The faculties extend sincere congratulations to all graduates and wish them success in their future endeavours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new graduates join a thriving community of nearly 17,000 Uni.lu alumni<\/a> and can sign up for the dedicated alumni platform. The alumni network sets up events and networking opportunities with numerous partners and organisations for former Uni.lu students.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
