The European Union is committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and is striving to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, the Ministry of the Economy, and the University of Luxembourg, and with the support of Luxinnovation, a conference on the state of the art of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in Luxembourg will take place on <strong>5 February, from 9.00 to 17.00, in Luxembourg-Belval<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objectives of this conference are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">to provide an overview of the status of CCUS at an international, European and national level, highlighting the opportunities and constraints of natural and technology-based solutions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">to promote networking in the Luxembourg RDI ecosystem in the area of CCUS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you an industrial, economic, or financial player?
