In today’s increasingly digital society, our research addresses pressing challenges in privacy and data protection through the development of practical, privacy-preserving cryptographic protocols. Our focus lies in designing and analyzing solutions that reconcile privacy with other often conflicting requirements critical for real-world deployment and combines rigorous formalism with practical applicability. This includes addressing challenges not only related to efficiency and scalability but also to advanced requirements such as lawful interception, anti-money laundering, fraud detection, and user data analytics. Our findings are frequently published at top-tier conferences and receive considerable media attention.
