Laurent Heirendt’s work is part of the National Centre for Excellence in Research on Parkinson’s Disease (NCERPD), a joint research effort of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Institute of Health, the Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine of the University of Luxembourg to unite their expertise in Parkinson’s disease. This research programme is funded by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) and aims to find new ways for an earlier diagnosis and personalized treatment for Parkinson’s disease.
