What is the Uni.lu Highlights? The booklet offers a compendium of students and research stories at the University, its key moments and facts & figures of the past year. It reflects both the essential features of the University of Luxembourg and the people that make it a special place to study, work and grow.

From research awards to alumni experiences and student voices, Highlights offers a view of the vibrant life at Uni.lu.

• Students and researchers designed, built and operated the miniature Poquito satellite, currently circling the planet.
• A new partnership with Google paves the way for a Centre of Excellence and the Sovereign AI Chair.
• Education experts designed school tests for teachers to identify learning disorders in multilingual school settings.
• A new Bachelor in Midwifery to upscale the pool of skilled medical staff in Luxembourg.
• Cutting-edge research in neurodegenerative diseases brings us closer to early diagnostics and personalised treatment for Alzheimer’s or Parkinsons’ disease.
• 1,800 graduates and 1,000 doctoral candidates successfully closed their academic year in 2025, joining the 19,000-strong alumni community.
