In March, we celebrate International Women’s Day. This year, the University Gender Equality Office and Espace Cultures, with support from a diverse group of associations, invite you to a concert performed by the inVISIBLE Women Quintet, which will showcase the magnificent work of women composers who are still too often left in the shadows.

Music and gender in Luxembourg
The project, jointly initiated by the University of Luxembourg and CID – Fraen an Gender, aims to research music history from a gender perspective. the project is a collaboration with the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Hfmt) and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, who are in charge of the project MUGI (Musik und Gender im Internet), as well as with the Centre national de l’Audiovisuel and the Centre national de Littérature.
