{"id":478,"date":"2021-10-04T13:30:03","date_gmt":"2021-10-04T11:30:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/c2dh-fr\/events\/presentation-de-louvrage-quarantine-drawings-on-the-virus-that-never-went-viral\/"},"modified":"2021-10-04T13:30:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-04T11:30:03","slug":"presentation-de-louvrage-quarantine-drawings-on-the-virus-that-never-went-viral","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/c2dh-fr\/events\/presentation-de-louvrage-quarantine-drawings-on-the-virus-that-never-went-viral\/","title":{"rendered":"Pr\u00e9sentation de l\u2019ouvrage \u00abQuarantine-drawings on the virus that never went viral\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-free-section section\"><div class=\"container xl:max-w-screen-xl\"><p><strong>Un livre avec des dessins de Georg Riesenhuber sur le Covid-19, issus de la plateforme covidmemory.lu.<\/strong><\/p><p>Lorsque \u00e0 la mi-mars 2020, le Premier ministre luxembourgeois Xavier Bettel proclama l\u2019\u00e9tat de crise et des mesures de confinement strictes pour le pays, nul n\u2019imaginait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, que le monde d\u2019avant, tel que nous le connaissions, allait prendre fin ou du moins que certaines libert\u00e9s auxquelles nous \u00e9tions habitu\u00e9s, allaient prendre un autre visage et que notre quotidien serait dor\u00e9navant rythm\u00e9 par le Covid-19.<\/p><p>Face \u00e0 cette situation in\u00e9dite, le <i>Centre for Contemporary and Digital History<\/i> (C\u00b2DH) de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Luxembourg lan\u00e7a une plateforme en ligne <a href=\"https:\/\/covidmemory.lu\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">covidmemory.lu<\/a> pour collecter des photos, vid\u00e9os, r\u00e9cits et t\u00e9moignages, li\u00e9s au Covid-19, de personnes r\u00e9sidant ou travaillant au Luxembourg. Il fallait garder la trace de ce que nous nous appr\u00eations \u00e0 vivre, immortaliser ce moment in\u00e9dit et documenter ce v\u00e9cu hors norme, afin que les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures, mais aussi les historiens, puissent un jour analyser avec le recul n\u00e9cessaire de quelle mani\u00e8re cette pand\u00e9mie et les restrictions avaient chang\u00e9 notre vie et d\u00e9stabilis\u00e9 notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p><p>Motiv\u00e9 par l\u2019appel du C\u00b2DH, Georg Riesenhuber, architecte d\u2019origine autrichienne vivant au Luxembourg, publia ainsi pr\u00e8s de 120 dessins sur cette plateforme.<\/p><p>Un livre intitul\u00e9 \u00ab <i><strong>Quarantine-drawings on the virus that never went viral<\/strong><\/i>\u00bb est n\u00e9 de cette coop\u00e9ration. Il permet de (re)d\u00e9couvrir des dessins, aujourd\u2019hui recontextualis\u00e9s, qui illustrent sur un mode sarcastique et d\u00e9cal\u00e9, comment le Covid-19 a boulevers\u00e9 notre quotidien, nous a forc\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9inventer nos vies, \u00e0 red\u00e9finir nos relations professionnelles et familiales. Le regard port\u00e9 sur la crise sanitaire, ses cons\u00e9quences sociales et \u00e9conomiques, est aussi avant tout, un regard personnel, celui d\u2019un citoyen lambda, confront\u00e9 \u00e0 ses propres interrogations et incertitudes face \u00e0 l\u2019ennemi invisible qu\u2019est le Covid-19. Le ton se veut donc grin\u00e7ant et ironique. Volontairement acerbes, mordantes d\u2019impertinence, ses dessins d\u00e9peignent avec force et humour, les al\u00e9as d\u2019un quotidien chamboul\u00e9. Le feutre devient le moyen pour exprimer et croquer ces moments de vie qui s\u2019immobilisent face \u00e0 une pand\u00e9mie sans fin.<\/p><p>Pour Georg Riesenhuber, \u00ab<i>\u00a0le pinceau et l\u2019encre de chine<\/i> \u00bb sont devenus le moyen\u00a0 \u00ab <i>de lutter contre la sinistrose ambiante<\/i>. \u00bb Tout en caricaturant le monde d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, ses dessins restent aussi avant tout, un moyen de faire rire ou du moins sourire d\u2019une situation inqui\u00e9tante que nous ne maitrisons pas ou si peu. Oscillant entre dessins et caricatures, ils ne nous laissent pas indiff\u00e9rents et nous poussent finalement \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion.<\/p><p>L\u2019ouvrage r\u00e9unit \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des nombreux dessins de Georg Riesenhuber, les contributions \u00e9crites de Christiane Rainer (historienne et curatrice aupr\u00e8s du Volkskundemuseum, Graz), de Christa Roth (journaliste ind\u00e9pendante, Berlin), de Veronika Wolf (historienne de l\u2019art) et de Martin Puntigam (cabarettiste, Graz).
