{"id":5690,"date":"2024-11-12T14:21:10","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T13:21:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/c2dh-en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=5690"},"modified":"2024-11-14T08:01:40","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T07:01:40","slug":"intersection-of-art-and-technology-eko-saputra-at-the-c%c2%b2dh","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/c2dh-en\/news\/intersection-of-art-and-technology-eko-saputra-at-the-c%c2%b2dh\/","title":{"rendered":"Intersection of art and technology: Eko Saputra at the C\u00b2DH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-free-section section\"><div class=\"container xl:max-w-screen-xl\">\n<p><strong>Eko Saputra joins the C\u00b2DH from 25 to 30 November 2024 in the framework of the recently launched Global South Fellowship programme, supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/c2dh-en\/research-groups\/public-history\/\">Public History research group<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eko Saputra is an interdisciplinary artist&nbsp;and researcher, originally from Batang Buo, West Sumatra, Indonesia, and currently based in Venice, Italy, where he leads his own studio practice, Studio Angge and is currently pursuing his PhD in History and Heritage Studies at the University of Teramo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drawing from his main curatorial and museum experience with the Venice Biennale of Art and Architecture, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and the European Route of Ceramics &#8211; Council of Europe, Eko works at the intersection of art and technology.
