The SCIROS project—Strategic Collaboration for Interdisciplinary Research on Open Science in the Social Sciences and Humanities is an initiative aimed at creating an international research network for systemic research on open science and the development of sustainable cooperation between academic institutions. It unites international partners – IBL PAN (Instytut Badań Literackich PAN – Institut de Recherche Littéraire de l’Académie Polonaise des Sciences) and six research organisations – to address critical gaps in empirical studies on the effectiveness of Open Science for the academic community.
The C²DH is delighted to welcome the SCIROS team thanks to Tugce Karatas, Elisabeth Guérard, Sofia Papastamkou and Valérie Schafer, and to be part of this NAWA-funded initiative, with IBL PAN as well as OpenEdition (France), Technical University of Munich (TUM, Germany), University of Coimbra (Portugal), CSIL – Centre for Industrial Studies (Italy), and Hanken School of Economics (Finland). We warmly invite you to the workshop Sustaining and Innovating Open Research Infrastructures. SCIROS Workshop @UniLu on 24-25 March 2025, at the DH Lab (1st Floor of MSH), and notably on 25 March afternoon, during the Innovation Session led by OPERAS Innovation and representatives from local innovation centers, related to sustainable innovation frameworks for Open Research Infrastructures (ORIs) and focused on governance, funding diversification, and interdisciplinary collaboration. We are very thankful to all UL partners as well as the C²DH colleagues who agreed to present their work and approach during these days.
